Anchor for desktop runs on Windows, macOS and Linux, with signed installers and checksums you can verify.

Anchor for desktop supports networks that the browser version doesn't offer, including WAX and Telos. Your keys stay where they are, on your computer.

Linux

Check what you downloaded

Run shasum -a 512 against the file (on Windows, certutil -hashfile <file> SHA512), and compare the result to the checksum listed for your download.

Who signed it

The Windows installers are signed by Greymass Inc. as C=CA, ST=British Columbia, L=North Vancouver, O=Greymass Inc., CN=Greymass Inc., through Microsoft's Trusted Signing service. The signature carries a timestamp, so it stays valid over time.

The macOS app is code-signed by Greymass Inc. and notarized by Apple, with Apple's hardened runtime applied to every helper process.

Using a Ledger

Anchor signs with a Ledger in your browser on Vaulta and Jungle 4. Chrome and Edge can reach a Ledger over USB; Safari and Firefox can't. The desktop app signs with a Ledger on every network it supports.
